The Summit Name is a free, 5-day transformative event created to help Christians identify the difference between popular terms/phrases in culture vs. the Word of God.
Possible Session Topics:
God will never put more on you than you can carry/bear
God said, "love your neighbor," but we heard be tolerant of each other and focus on inclusion
YOLO as an excuse to do whatever you want
Money is the root of all evil.
The idea that God is an evil, almighty tyrannt who punishes you if you don't do things His way when, infact, God's love and faithfulness protect us from ourselves more than we acknowledge. He's just and righteous AND He is loving. See the garden, Jonah and Nineveh, the Isrealites over and over again, etc.
Saying the sinner's prayer and going to church are enough to get me into heaven...
You have to be perfect before you can come to Jesus/God for help.
