Meet Sharon Barrett

Sharon Barrett is a classical educator, writer, and podcaster.

After a decade of teaching in public school, Christian school, university, and church settings, Sharon founded Olive Tree Tutorials, where she equips homeschool families to make college and career decisions that align with their faith.

Along with studying apologetics at the seminary level, she obtained graduate degrees in history, education, and social science research because we should use every tool at our disposal—even secular academics—to confront evil and speak truth in the midst of culture. ​

On the Olive Press podcast, Sharon highlights controversial topics like the decline of universities, the revival of Jewish and Christian classical education, and hidden issues in the homeschool movement that are causing millennial and Gen Z graduates to lose their faith (and how we can prevent this).

She's also an herbalist and soul care coach, serving women at Singing Rose Tea & Soul Care.
